There are
four Dão Lafões Routes, located in Viseu, with thematic
tours based on the historical and cultural wealth of the
city, from Roman times to the 20th century Organised by
the Dão Lafões World of Experiences.
 The
Viriato Route / Viseu from Roman times to the Middle
Ages, consists of a journey to the farthest reaches of
our history, a visit to the time of Roman presence on
Lusitanian soil up to Medieval times; the Grão Vasco
Route/ Viseu in the Renaissance, takes you on a tour of
the 16th century city, an important artistic centre,
guided by Grão Vasco and
D. Miguel da
Silva; the Amor de Perdição Route/ 19th century Romantic
Viseu, takes you along roads inspired by this novel by
Camilo Castelo Branco; and finally, the Aquilino Ribeiro
Route/ 20th century Republican Viseu, is a discovery of
the journeys of the author in Viseu and the way he saw
the city in the first half of the last century.
